JLPT/NAT

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and the Japanese Language Ability Test (NAT) are standardized exams designed to assess and certify the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, JLPT evaluates language proficiency across five levels, with N1 being the highest. On the other hand, NAT, conducted by the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation, also features five levels, with Level 1 denoting the highest proficiency.

These tests, JLPT and NAT, are widely recognized internationally and serve as crucial indicators of Japanese language proficiency for universities, employers, and various institutions in Japan and around the world. Both exams assess language knowledge in areas such as vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening.
