About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and result-oriented IELTS Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and guide students toward achieving their desired band scores. The ideal candidate will also train students for university interviews and visa interviews, helping them build confidence, fluency, and communication skills for study abroad success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IELTS preparation classes (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for students of varying English proficiency levels.
- Design and deliver interactive lessons, practice tests, and mock exams aligned with IELTS standards.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and provide personalized feedback.
- Organize and conduct one-on-one speaking sessions and mock interviews for IELTS speaking and study-abroad interviews.
- Train students in university, embassy, and visa interview preparation, including body language, fluency, and question handling.
- Develop lesson plans, study materials, and test strategies tailored to student goals.
- Stay updated on the latest IELTS trends, scoring criteria, and examiner expectations.
- Maintain accurate student performance records and report progress to management.
- Foster a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of IELTS teaching experience (offline or online).
- Excellent command of English (C1/C2 level preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IELTS exam format and marking criteria.
- Prior experience in interview or soft skills training is an advantage.
- Patient, approachable, and able to motivate students to achieve their target bands.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Certification in TESOL/TEFL/CELTA (preferred but not mandatory).
